Resources Consumption

To control resources is our main concern therefore we took and still taking large steps toward reducing our resources consumption. And as we are not the only one who are consuming these resources and you (as a hotel guest) are involved in.

Here is some of what we can do together in regards to our resources.

Electricity Saving
		Replacing normal bulbs with power saving bulbs. We started to replace all the high Consumption normal light bulbs with the power saving light bulbs in all areas of the hotel as well as the guests’ rooms This helps saving a huge amount of electricity consumption. Implementing light timers on landscape and corridors. That will turn off the light at the same time on daily basis and helps avoiding any human mistakes.

Having power savers in the rooms:
		Using the power saving cards in all guests’ rooms will save a lot of power consumption, when you leave your room, take off the card from the box to shut down all the electric devices in the room. When you are in the room unplug any electronics even when electronic devices are turned Off, they use energy.

Water Saving:
		This part is the most one we are proud of as it shows to everyone how much we care about our environment and our natural resources. We get the water from our desalination plant to be treated under a well controlled process according to the international standards, then to be distributed to all our hotels in the bay.

Water filters for all taps:
		Helps in reducing the Wastage of water

Landscape Irrigation system:
		Our irrigation system is fitted with timer and sprinkler system so as to make a good control on water consumption.

Kitchen hand washing sink:
		To preserve our water we had to install foot operation hand washing sinks in our kitchens so as to help controlling water consumption.
