Hotel facilities include a restaurant, terrace bar and swimming pool exclusive to guests of Sol Y Mar Shams Suites and the services and attractions of Sharm El-Sheikh city centre are easily reachable.   The extensive facilities, activities and shopping or dining venues of the nearby Mirabel Resort Complex are also on hand.  Water slides for the children and a private beach are available at Mirabel Resort Complex for use any time by residents of Sol Y Mar Shams Suites.   Tennis courts and a fully equipped gym, massage, sauna and steam room are also available for hotel guests at an extra charge.

A Kid's Club is open daily welcoming children aged 4 to 12, where they will be well supervised and entertained. There are organized activities and a kids’ playground, including an integrated kids’ pool and of course, children too have access to the facilities provided by Mirabel Resort Complex at an additional charge.

Sol Y Mar Shams Suites features 47 pleasantly furnished guest rooms:

• Superior Rooms (26 m²)
• Family Rooms (40 m² with a 6m ² spacious  terrace)
• Superior Studios (34 m² with a 4m² spacious terrace)

All rooms are individually air conditioned and the majority of rooms feature a balcony or terrace with two chairs and a low table. The Studios are fitted with a kitchenette and fridge. Non-Smoking rooms are available on request. Rooms also feature:
