Hotel facilities include full reception with high speed internet access, two restaurants, beach bar, two pool bars, discothèque and an oriental café, two swimming pools ( one of them heated during winter) kid’s pool, laundry service and beauty salon. Marsa Alam has some of the most beautiful diving sites and the most astonishing variety of marine life in all the southern Red Sea. As well as the huge pods of spinner dolphins, dozens of large turtles can often be seen and dugongs frequent these calm and serene waters too. It has everything that Hurghada and Sharm El-Sheikh has, but without the crowds. It is possible to dive at Marsa Alam all year round and sites such as the famous Elphinstone reef, with its sheer walls plunging down to a depth of around 70 metres,  are definitely for the more experienced Scuba diver. All water sports are available at an extra charge. Even without the attractions of the Red Sea, Sol Y Mar Dolphin House has endless recreation facilities.
