Accommodation

Accommodation is on full-board basis with a daily tea time service including snacks and cakes.  The Travcotels Regent has 60 generously proportioned (20 m ²) cabins and lavish 35 m ² suites:

• 55 Double cabins
• 3 Single cabins
• 2 Suites

The upper deck comprises 24 double cabins and 2 Suites while the main deck has 10 double and 2 single cabins. The lower Nile deck houses 21 double and 1 single cabins.

Cabins have large panoramic windows overlooking the Nile.  Every cabin and suite is fully air conditioned (individually controlled) and a full laundry service is also available on request.  All cabins are equipped with:

• Private  bathroom with W/C, shower, bidet and hair dryer
• Marine Satellite TV (while docked) and music system.
• In-cabin safe for storing valuables
• Mini bar/fridge

You can relax knowing that you have access to world-class cuisine prepared by a team of dedicated, creative and highly experienced chefs.  Mouth-watering aromas and flavours will tempt you to try the selection of regional and international dishes, fine wines and cocktails on offer in the elegant and spacious dining room that can accommodate all passengers in a single sitting.

The swimming pool is located on the large upper Sun deck, with the pool bar sited on the lower Sun deck.  Either way, you can sink into a sun lounger, enjoy the massage service or just admire the magnificent scenery as it glides past.  More energetic guests can use the variety of fitness equipment available.  A gift shop on board will supply souvenirs or you can pamper yourself in the beauty salon (open twice a week on request in Luxor and Aswan) and keep in touch through an international telephone and Internet service (extra charge for use).   Boogie on down in the daily disco or, in the evenings, enjoy regular Egyptian music and folkloric performances held nightly in the lounge

The Regina cruises between Luxor and Aswan.  

The 7 night/8 day cruise programme consists of:

Day 1.  Check in and overnight on board the Regina at Luxor.
Day 2.  Visit the Temples of Karnak and Luxor.   Sail on to Edfu via Esna and overnight on board.
Day 3.  Sail to Edfu and visit the Temple of Horus Temple.  Sail on to Kom Ombo and overnight on board.
Day 4.  Sail to Aswan.  Visit the High Dam, unfinished Obelisque and Philae Temple.  Overnight on board in Aswan.
Day 5.  Optional visit to the Temples of Abu Simbel  (charged extra) in the morning.  Afternoon trip to the Botanical Gardens in Felucca.  Overnight on board in Aswan.
Day 6.  Early departure, sailing to Kom Ombo.  Visit the Sobek Temple then sail on to Edfu before steaming on to Luxor via Esna.
Day 7.  Visit the West Bank of Luxor and the ancient monuments of Thebes.  In the afternoon, your time is yours to spend at leisure before overnighting on board at Luxor.
Day 8.  Check out.

The 3 night/ 4 day cruise programme consists of:

Day 1.  Check in at Aswan   before lunch and visit the High Dam, unfinished Obelisque and Philae Temple.  Overnight on board in Aswan.
Day 2.  Early departure, sailing to Kom Ombo.  Visit the Sobek Temple then take lunch on board.  Sail on to Edfu and visit the temple of Horus.    Sail on to Luxor and take dinner on board and overnight.
Day 3.  Visit the West Bank of Luxor and the ancient monuments of Thebes including the temples of Karnak and Luxor.  Overnight in Luxor.  
Day 4.  Check out and disembark after breakfast on board.
