Accommodation

Featuring 73 large double cabins, 2 single cabins and 2 luxury Suites, the Jaz Minerva offers a choice of five deck levels (cabins on four decks):

• Lower  Deck with 9 double cabins
• Deck 1 with 20 double cabins
• Deck 2 with 28 double cabins and 2  large double-size Suites
• Deck 3 with 18 double cabins
• Sun deck

Main and upper deck cabins have large panoramic sliding windows with a Nile view and private balcony area.  All cabins are fully air-conditioned (individually controlled) and furnished with generous closet and wardrobe space.  Cabins also feature the following as standard:

• Private W/C, shower and hairdryer
• Marine Satellite TV with in-house video channels and music system
• In-cabin safe for valuables and mini-bar/fridge
• Full laundry service is available on request

Guests who book the Suites will also receive a complementary set of stationery, slippers and luxury bathrobes embroidered with logo and a departure souvenir logbook.

The main restaurant accommodates all passengers in one sitting and offers a mix of local and international buffet style cuisine created by a selected team of highly skilled chefs.  Accommodation is on a full-board basis with daily tea time service including snacks and cakes.  A large, sumptuous lounge and bar serves drinks and snacks all day.

Sit back and relax with your drink in hand from the pool bar on the sun deck or lounge by the large freshwater swimming pool situated forward on the Sun deck that runs for the entire length of the ship.   Visit the gift shop or indulge yourself in the beauty salon (open on request twice weekly in Luxor and Aswan).

The Jaz Minerva typically plies between Luxor and Aswan. 

The 7 night/8 day cruise programme sailing from Luxor and returning to Luxor would usually consist of:

Day 1.  Check in and overnight on board the Jaz Minerva.
Day 2.  Visit the Temples of Karnak and Luxor.   Sail on to Edfu via Esna and overnight on board.
Day 3.  Sail to Edfu and visit the Temple of Horus Temple.  Sail on to Kom Ombo and overnight on board.
Day 4.  Sail to Aswan.  Visit the High Dam, unfinished Obelisque and Philae Temple.  Overnight on board in Aswan.
(The shorter 4 night/ 5 day cruise programme would include a visit to the Botanical Gardens by Felucca before an overnight in Aswan and check out on Day 5).
Day 5.  Optional visit to the Temples of Abu Simbel  (extra charge) in the morning.  Afternoon trip to the Botanical Gardens in Felucca.  Overnight on board in Aswan.
Day 6.  Early departure, sailing to Kom Ombo.  Visit the Sobek Temple then sail on to Edfu before steaming on to Luxor via Esna.
Day 7.  Visit the West Bank of Luxor and the ancient monuments of Thebes.  In the afternoon, your time is yours to spend at leisure before overnighting on board at Luxor.
Day 8.  Check out and home with memories to treasure.

The 3 night/4 day cruise programme sailing from Aswan to Luxor would normally consist of:

Day 1.  Check in before lunch.  Visit the High Dam, unfinished Obelisque and Philae Temple.  Overnight on board in Aswan.
Day 2.  Early departure for Kom Ombo.  Visit the Sobek Temple, then sail on to Edfu and visit the Temple of Horus.  Sail on to Luxor and overnight on board.
Day 3.  Visit the West Bank of Luxor and the ancient monuments of Thebes in the morning.  In the afternoon, tour the Temples of Karnak and Luxor.  Overnight on board.
