Accommodation

Accommodation is on full-board basis with a daily tea time service that includes delicious snacks and cakes.  The Crown Prince features 80 cabins in all, each a generous 19 m², spread over four of the five decks of the ship.

• 76 Double cabins
• 4 Single cabins

The upper deck (2) of the ship comprises of 18 double cabins, upper deck (1) has 30 double cabins and 2 single cabins, the main deck houses 20 double cabins and the lower deck has 8 double and 2 single cabins.

Cabins have large panoramic windows (except the lower deck) overlooking the Nile. A full laundry service is available.   Every cabin is fully air conditioned (individually controlled) and all cabins are equipped with: 

• Private W/C, shower and hairdryer.
• Marine Satellite TV and music system.
• Safe for storing valuables
• Mini bar/fridge

The Crown Prince creates excellent meals serving local and international food, drink and snacks around the clock.  Start your morning with a generous breakfast buffet or try the equally tasty afternoon and midnight buffets on offer.    The spacious main restaurant can accommodate all guests in one sitting and the large luxurious lounge has a bar that serves fine wines, cocktails, juices and coffees.  Or indulge yourself by the pool bar sipping refreshing drinks while admiring the view or working out with the fitness equipment.

The swimming pool and pool bar are located on the large Sun deck that runs the entire length of the ship and you’ll find parasols and loungers for your comfort and relaxation.  A gift shop on board will supply souvenirs or you can pamper yourself with a full body massage using scented and silky creams or simply spruce up your look  in the beauty salon which is open twice a week on request in Luxor and Aswan.   Keep in touch with home through the chargeable internet, international telephone and fax service or dance the night away and enjoy music and folkloric performances held in the lounge

The Crown Prince cruises from Luxor and returns via Dendarah. 

The 7 night/8 day cruise programme consists of:

Day 1.  Check in and overnight on board the M.S. Crown Prince
Day 2.  Visit the temples West Bank and ancient Thebes and sail on to Edfu via Esna.
Day 3.  Visit the Temple of Horus.  Sail on to Kom Ombo and visit Sobek Temple, then sail on to Aswan.  Overnight on board.
Day 4. Visit the Aswan High Dam, unfinished Obelisque and Philae Temple in the morning.   Afternoon trip to the Botanical Gardens in Felucca.  Overnight on board in Aswan.
Day 5.  Optional visit to temples of Abu Simbel (charged extra), then sail on to Luxor via Esna and overnight on board at Esna.
Day 6.  Early departure to Luxor and tour the Temples of Karnak and Luxor.  Overnight on board. 
Day 7. Sail to Quena and visit Dendarah temple.  Sail back to Luxor and overnight on board.
Day 8.  Check out.
