Hotel facilities are comprehensive and convenient with a buffet restaurant, bars and pubs on site.  Two heated swimming pools and shaded poolside areas make a convenient break from the glorious private beach and the warm waters of the Red Sea.  There is a laundry service and gift shop, 24 hour concierge and room service as well as access to an on-call doctor 24 hours a day.  Visit the on-site fitness centre and spa with sauna and Jacuzzi for some well deserved pampering.
Go snorkeling in the nearby Red Sea or enroll in the nearby diving centre to explore the world of SCUBA diving.  There is an impressive variety of beach games and indoor recreation and the resident animation team will organize daily programmes for your enjoyment as well as live stage shows presented regularly in the evening.  

The Kids Club opens daily to provide supervised childcare and give you a break!  Special programmes, designed for children between the ages of 3 and 12, will occupy them all day using their own playground, a games room with DVD players and freshwater swimming pool. The main restaurant offers special menus for children. A babysitting service is also available at an extra charge.

Sol Y Mar Club Makadi has its own private sandy beach and heated freshwater swimming pools for adults and children.  Feeling livelier?  Then try beach volleyball, water polo, tennis, football and even archery.

Workout in the fully equipped Gym and Spa or try a game of squash at the nearby Iberotel Makadi Oasis hotel (extra charge).

If you prefer your indoor activities then try the billiards or gym.  Other sports available outdoors include table tennis, darts, table football or garden chess.

With a variety of water slides for all ages, Madinat Makadi Aqua Park offers numerous adult water slides including the Family Rafting Slide, Flying Boat, Twister, Turbo Tunnel Slide, Black Hole and many more.
